Hampton U. prez limits task force
Looks like the controversy has yet to abate: "Less than a week after agreeing to create a task force that would redefine the role of the Hampton University student newspaper, the school president has changed its composition and limited its power," writes the Student Press Law Center.
"Editors of The Script and acting President JoAnn Haysbert agreed to create the task force late last Friday after controversy erupted on campus when Haysbert confiscated the entire print run of the newspaper because editors refused to run her memo on the front page of the Oct. 25 issue."
SEE ALSO: 3,000 copies of The Vanguard of University of South Alabama were stolen.
