Gen. Clark to Return Speech Fees
AP: "Democratic presidential candidate Wesley Clark's campaign says he will return payments he received for speeches he'd made since declaring his candidacy. And, the retired general will no longer speak for money.
A Clark spokesman issued a statement saying Clark's advisers reviewed federal guidelines and determined that his paid speeches were appropriate. But, to avoid what the spokesman called "any distraction from the real issues," Clark has decided to return the money he was paid for those speeches. It did not say how much money was involved."

Clark answered with the comments "you can't make a law stick unless you're willing to enforce it," and "we have to minimize complications."
